There are some disturbing images that he has, so viewer discretion is advised.

For those who do not wish to look, I'll describe what I can:

The first eleven images shown are of the prisoners of the Jihadist before they were "executed" for no reason other than they were working for a free Iraq. The next two show the aftermath of a beheading of two Iraqi prisoners, their severed heads resting on their backs; the next two are images of an missing American and the ID's of the twelve murdered Nepalese workers; next is the bloody body of the murdered Japanese hostage Akihiko Saito; then an image of Margaret Hassan crying, probably before her murder; an Iraqi Interior Ministry official with a gun pointed at his head, before he was killed; then an image of the torture/slaughterhouse found after the liberation of Fallujah, an Iraqi translator murdered, and three of seven Iraqi civilian slaughtered, all by the Left's "freedom fighters."

The Left looks highly on these people. They believe that they are fighting for the "freedom" of all Iraqis. Yet, one look at these images, and you would think they are insane. Everyone harps about the Abu Ghariab prisoner abuse (which have already been beaten beyond death by the MSM), but they seem to turn a blind eye to the true prisoner abuse going on with the foreign terrorists who capture innocent men and women, then murder them.

Makes you wonder whose side the MSM is on.

How Radicals Respond to Satire

Looks like radical Muslims are attacking free speech on the Internet: Michelle Malkin's Denial of Service attack on her website.

The radicals are all bent out of shape over those Prophet cartoons, so what do they do? He will join the other eight Justices for tonight's State of the Union address.

Associate Justice Alito was confirmed by 58-42 party line vote. It is sad that Alito, probably the most qualified judge to serve on the high court, had the vote like this, unlike the former ACLU lawyer Ruth Bader Ginsburg who got about 98 "Yea" votes. Sadly, partisan politics overrule qualified judges.

Hopefully, the country will move on from the vile partisanship of this and come together to better this country.

One Down, One to Go.

3rd Circuit Judge, and Supreme Court nominee, Samuel Alito passed the Judiciary committee by a party line vote of 10-8. The Senate will be debatting his nomination tomorrow, and, hopefully, have a vote by the end of the week, unless the Liberals have their way.

It is sad to see a well-qualified judge not get a full "Yes" vote from the committee based on partisan politics. Judge Alito should get over 90 votes, but there will the the Liberals who will oppose him no matter what.

They say that Alito is out of the "mainstream". What they really mean is that he does not conform to the Liberal mindset of rulings based on feelings and legislating from the bench.

Judge Alito will be confirmed to sit on the high court, no doubt. Alito believes in judicial restriant, which in today's judicial world, is absolutely necessary to prevent judges from imposing their twisted view onto America.

Judge Alito looks at the laws and facts of the cases that had came before him, and he judges accordionly. They would probably be posting transcripts of the statements and exchanges and such.

Here's hoping the Liberals don't try to hijack this to make it a circus and slander both Alito and the President, as well as other conservatives.

A Miracle amongst A Tragedy

Today, at around 3:00 AM EST, it has been confirmed that 12 of the 13 miners, who were trapped in their mine after an explosion, had been found dead, contrary to earlier reports. Only one miner, Randal McCloy, survived the ordeal.

At 12 AM EST, word leaked out that rescue workers had found 12 of the 13 alive. Earlier at 9 PM EST, reports came in that one body was found.

This is a national tragedy. I found out about the discovery at about 6:30 AM EST. I hoped that they would be found alive, but a part of me knew otherwise.

The sole survivor is a miracle. Over 40 hours since the beginning of this event, in the cold. His youth (he is about 27, the youngest of the 13) is probably what saved him, as well as his training. He will be a vital part in the investigation into what happened there.

Right now, this is not the time to point fingers and assess blame. Let the investigation play out, the findings published, then we can look back and say who is at fault, if at all. This may be just a freak accident that may or may not have happened if safety precautions were in place.

May God bless and comfort the souls of the deceased, their families, the rescue workers who made the discoveries, and to all of the other miners around the globe.

Just a quick note...

Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, and Happy New Year.

What Global Warming?

Okay, I'm looking outside of the window and there is about 9" of the white crap on hte ground, and it is still snowing. Sure, they got five goals and went into overtime, but lost. Sure, they got a point out of it. But, if you were watching the game between the Wings and the Edmonton Oilers.

For a little background into the season so far with both teams, here are some stats:

Out of 21 games played, the Wings are 15-4-2, and have a total of 32 points so far, making them first in their Division (Central), first in the confrence (Western), and first in the league. They have 78 Goals for, and 51 Goals against. They are 8-2-1 at home, 7-2-1 away, and have a 5-3-2 for the last ten games. The Wings are 2nd in the league on Power Play Percentage (PP%), 24.8%. The Wings are 6th in the league for Penalty Kills (PK), at 85.1%.

For the Oilers, they have played 21 games as well, with a 11-9-1 record and 23 points so far, making them third in their Division (Northwest), seventh in the Western confrence, and 13th in the league . They have 66 Goals for, and 64 Goals against. They are 4-2-1 at home, 7-7-0 away, and have a 7-3-0 in their last ten games. The Oilers are 15th in PP%,18.4%. The Oilers are 18th in PK, 81.4%.

You would think that the Red Wings would do well against the Oilers, but sadly, that was not the case.

1st Period: at 14:28, the Oilers score. Not unusual, it happens. At 16:26, the Wings tie it up 1-1. End of first.
2nd Period: 3:37, Wings score, maing it 2-1. At 4:50, they score again, making it 3-1. That's it for the second.
3rd Period: The meltdown. 5:30, Oilers score. 6:59, they score again, tying it up 3-3. 8:12, another Oilers goal, 4-3. 12:25, gues what? ANOTHER Oilers goal, this time 5-3. COMPLETE DEFENSIVE BREAKDOWN!!! The D would swat at the puck and it would go to an Oiler, which is then shot, hits the goalie, rebound, the D FAILS TO TAKE THE REBOUND AWAY, goes to another Oiler, shot, goalie, rebound, taken by YET ANOTHER Oiler, shot, score. Three DIFFERENT Oilers get a shot at our goalie in about a minute. The Wings gave up 4 STRAIGHT goals to them. Somehow, the Wings managed to get two goals, 16:40 and 17:42, forcing over time. In between all of this, our OWN goalie purposefully knocks the goal off its moorings, causing a penalty to them. Since goalies cannot be sent to the box, they send someone else that was on the ice at the time of the penalty to serve it. That happened around the middle of the 3rd. Near the end of the 3rd, with maybe a minute left, one of our guys interfers with the Oilers goalie, drawing an overtime 4-3 Oilers power play, in which they scored on us at 33 SECONDS!!!

How the Hell does one go from 3-1 after the second to blowing it all in the third and losing in overtime? I thought for a minute I was watching the Detroit Lions on skates! Our next game is with the St. Louis Blues (3-12-3), but based on our performance last night, I am really worried about our chances.

Okay, now on to NASCAR.

My one of my favorite drivers, Bobby Labonte, will the switching over from the Joe Gibbs Racing number 18 to the Petty Enterprises number 43 at the end of the season. Good move? Hope so, because this season hasn't been good. Of the 35 races run as of now, Bobby has aquired no wins, 4 top-5s, 7 top-10s, and 10 DNFs. Average finish: 22.3. Compare that to his championship year (2000):

4 wins
19 top-5s
24 top-10s
0 DNFs.
Average Finish: 7.4

WTF happened? He just went downhill from there. The past 4 seasons have been less than stellar. God, I hope that going to Petty will help him some.

November 11, Veteran's Day

In Flanders Fields, the poppies blow
Between the crosses row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead. Now the President has chosen Judge Samuel Alito from the 3rd Circuit Court from New Jersey. Alito was confirmed by the Senate back in 1990 when he was nominated to the 3rd Circuit by former President George H. W. The Spanish judicial system wants to take three American soldiers to a kangaroo court for firing a tank round at an hotel after the soldiers were taking fire. The hotel housed international journalists who were covering the war in Iraq.

Well, the way I see it, any journalists who enter a war zone take full responsibility of their lives, as they do, but also nullified any uniformed military force from prosecution/punishment in foreign courts. Several investigations have taken place over the incident and has exonerated the three warriors. The Socialist Republic of Spain decides to try to arrest them to give America and her children a black eye.

This is why President Bush decided not to join an international court because of this exact thing: find a way to punish America over anything they can find/make up.

I call bullshit onto the Spanish court and it's warrants. Most of those killed will be from drowning from the rising flood waters, others will (and have) succumbed to dehydration, disease, and starvation. Thousands of people remained in the city after the manditory evacuation, whether because they thought that they can ride out a Catergory 4 hurricane (with winds roughly equal to a F2 tornado), because they couldn't get out due to lack of transportation, or because they want to take advantage of the damage and loot the stores.

Of the three reasons for people staying, the second one can be resolved before the hurricane struck. New Orleans mayor Ray Nagin had almost 225 school buses that he could have used per the LA evac plan, including this part on page 13, 5th paragraph:

5. The primary means of hurricane evacuation will be personal vehicles. School and municipal buses, government-owned vehicles and vehicles provided by volunteer agencies may be used to provide transportation for individuals who lack transportation and require assistance in evacuating.

Why didn't Mayor Nagin use these buses to evac the citizens who couldn't leave? Better yet, why did Nagin wait until two days before the hurricane made landfall, where as Bush called for manditory evacuations five days before Katrina hit?

Mayor Nagin screwed up big time on this, and what does everyone have to say about this? Well, most on the left and Holywood/entertainers blame Bush for just about everything. Some have already laid down the race card. This is the worst disaster that I have seen since 9/11. While I was around for Huricane Andrew in 1992, I was only 6 at the time, but I have heard little of it when I lived in AZ.

May God protect the victims and embrace the souls of those lost.

The Global War on Terrorism (pre-9/11)

This is the first time that I have posted something this large here, so this is not going to be pretty (but I'll let you all decide for yourself):

Since the horrific events of September 11, 2001, and the resulting battles in Afghanistan and Iraq, Americans have became accustomed to the images and news and stories of terrorism abroad. With it being almost fours years since 9/11, along with no follow-up in the United States, Americans have started to grow more relaxed and most have started to let their guard down. But, as the events of Madrid, London, Beslan, and else where showed us, terrorists are patient, hiding and plotting their next move, waiting for the right time and right opportunity to strike at Americans. It took about eight years since the first World Trade Center attack in 1993 to destroy the Twin Towers in 2001, and it could be another eight years until they find the right time to attack.
But, what some people forget is that we have been attacked way before 1993. Since the overthrow of the Shah of Iran in the 1970’s, Islamic extremists have targeted mainly Western interests abroad. But 1993 was the first attack on American soil by Islamofascists.

The first real attack on Americans could be the hostage crisis in Tehran, Iran in November 1979 where close to 70 people, mainly Americans, were taken captive by radicals for 444 days because the former Shah was given life-saving treatment in America. Then President Jimmy Carter authorized a military rescue that failed tragically when their helicopters collided during refueling. This became a black eye to America and her military. Afterwards, Carter tried to negotiate their release, to no avail. The hostages were released on January 20, 1981, the day of Ronald Reagan’s inauguration. But, the loss of military personal – and Carter’s lack of will – sat the stage for more terrorist attacks to come.

Probably one of the most bloodiest attacks on Americans pre-9/11 was the homicide truck bombing of American peacekeeping forces in Beirut, Lebanon on October 23, 1983, where 243 Marines were killed when their barracks were obliterated said truck bomb. A Hezbollah terrorist – who delivered and detonated the bomb – and an Iranian trained terrorist – who built the bomb – carried out the attack. The American service people were in Lebanon to help stabilized the country during its civil war between the Shiites, Sunnis, Maronites (a Christian sect), and Druze (a secretive Islamic sect). This event may have been the first battle of the war on Terror, as well as the first casualties.

On October 7, 1985, a terrorist group lead by Mohammed Abul Abbas, and with the blessing of Palestinian terror leader Yasser Arafat, planned the takeover of an Italian cruise liner, the Achille Lauro, and directed it from a hotel suite. Four men (Youssef al-Molqi, Ibrahim Abdel Atif, Ahmed al-Hussani, and Bassam al-Asker) stormed into the main dining hall and sprayed machine gun fire into the ceiling. They then set a deadline for their demands (one of which is the release of 50 prisoners from Israeli custody).
Leon Klinghoffer, a 69 year old wheelchair bound man, was picked out by al-Molqi and murdered at point blank range after the deadline passed. His body and wheelchair were thrown overboard. Word was leaked, via the captain, that a passenger was killed.
The thugs were then ordered (by Abbas) to go to Port Said, Egypt, which the government allowed them to flee from justice. But their plane that they were on (including Abbas) was intercepted by American fighters and forced to land in Italy, where Navy SEALs were to apprehend them. Long story short, the socialist Italian government took them into custody and were given prison sentences, but almost all of them (except Abbas, who got away with “diplomatic immunity”) were released early and fled. They eventually were captured, including Abbas, who was caught in Baghdad on April 15, 2003 as the Hussein regime, which had willingly housed him, fell apart in Operation Iraqi Freedom. Abbas’ capture in Baghdad is one of many links between Saddam Hussein and international terrorism.
All of these event showed that America was at war with terrorism way before 19/11, even before 1993: the Iranian hostage crisis, the Beirut bombing, and the hostile takeover of the Achille Lauro and the murder of Leon Klinghoffer. To deny that the war on terror was before 9/11 is to deny history.

(Well, what do you all think?)

Something New

Well, I have been having some problems with my tBlog acount, so for new on I will be using the Blogger account here.

Thanks for staying with me throught this.

Shakeup at the Supreme Court

Via: Blogs for Bush

Associate Justice Sandra Day O'Connor had gave her letter of resignation to President George Bush today. Justice O'Connor has been a loyal public servant for the past 24 years since she was nominated by late President Ronald Reagan, becoming the first female to serve as Justice of the Supreme Court.

She has been the critical swing vote, mainly siding with the majority, thus the reason you see a lot of 5 to 4 decisions; thus, this will be a critical issue with both the left and the right; the left will want someone who will keep with Roe v. Wade; the right will want someone who will oppose abortion. Expect a fierce fight over the President's nomination. I hope that the President will choose someone who leans to the right on some issues, like abortion and capital punishment, but won't be afraid to choose sides.

Hopefully this wouldn't be too fierce of a fight and that there won't be a smear campaign against that nominee.

A Sad Day for Democracy

In a time where judges now legislate from the bench, instead of intrepreting laws, comes another outrage as a Superior Court judge
upheld Washington's fraud-filled election, saying that, basically, well, screw you all. He acknowledged that there was fraud, that there was 1,400 felons that voted illegally, 19 people who shouldn't have voted because they were dead, six voted twice, and hundreds of provisional ballots were counted without verifying voters registration, but did nothing about it. He could have had those thrown out. Whether that actually will change the outcome is beyond me.

This has been a travisty in democracy, and I fear that this sets a precident that you can commit fraud and get away with it.

"The Faith of My Father's"

I just finished watching A&E's original movie, The Faith of My Father's, a movie chornalcling John McCain's days as a POW in Vietnam. This movie showed what real torture is: multiple beatings, hanging by your wrists, inhumane living conditions. But this not only showed McCain's POW days; they also showed the times when he is in the Naval Academy in Anapolis, the treatment there, and other aspects of his life. It starts from when he was shot down to when he was finally released.

To me, this movie shows who the real war criminals were; the Vietnamese Communists who ran both the government and the prison that McCain was kept in. If any of those hippies had been in what McCain was in, they would have changed their minds, unless they were still on the pot, so there is no help there.

But what happened to the Vietnam war vetrans after they returned from conflict is just as inhumane; the throwing of shit, the degergation of the troops by using words such as "baby killer" and "war criminals" (which pretty much described the NVA and the VC), and other instances, like "Hanoi" Jane Fonda appearing on Vietnamese AA guns to demoralize our brave men and women in 'Nam. It disgusts me to no end.

Would I recommend this movie? Yes, I would, but I would suggest that young children not be present during its viewing, there are a few graphic scenes and some cursing.

Some Notes and Observations

Item 1, Newsweek:
Well, by now everyone knows about the Newsweek fiasco. Newsweek used only one source to authenticate the story, as opposed to multiple sources. Whether Newsweek is intended for the riots to happen or not is up for dicussion. I doubt that they wanted the riots to happen. Now that the story has been discredited, this may get some news organizations to better look into their sources and verify the stories further. Did Newsweek intend to make President Bush look bad? Maybe, maybe not. But this is another major blow to the MSM, as far as their credibility is concerned. Too many organizations are getting politics injected into newscasts, whether liberal or conservative.

Newsweek has lost a lot of credibility and trust over this, and it will be a Hell of a long time before they can regain the trust with the general public.

Item 2, Saddam's Whitey-tighties:
Have you seen the images of Saddam Hussein in his skivvies? When I first saw this on Friday morning, I was lucky to have finished my breakfast. The Butcher of "Sag"dad? Seeing Saddam in his underwear is like seeing Rosie O'Donald in the nude. Ugh.

What happened here is that the tabloid, the Sun I believe, somehow got a hold of these images from someone inside the US military. The military has rightfully condemned this action and has called for an investigation into who had the images. From some of the angles that I have seen the pictures of him, it looks like they may have came from a security camera.

One way or another, who ever released these needs to answer for their actions.

Item 3, Judicial Fillibusters:
Sometime this week, there will be a showdown on Captiol Hill over the judicial nominees of George Bush. While the Democrats allowed a vast majority of Bush's nominees to receive an up-or-down vote, they have blocked 10 of the President's choices from an up-or-down vote.

Now, back when the Republicans were the minority during the Clinton-era, they rarely blocked nominees. We gave them yea or nay votes. Now that we are in power, the liberals have obstruct almost everything Bush has set out to do. The fillibuster should not be used to block nominees, no matter how bad Congresspeople think of them.

I support changing the Senate rules to ban judicial fillibusters. That is all that is needed. If the Democrats follow their threat of shutting down the government, they will pay dearly for it. It would be political suicide.

Well, that is all for today. Hopefully, after May 27 (last day of school for seniors), I would be able to post more.

Well, this is interesting.

Today I came back to my blog, just for shits and giggles, and lo and behold, it's back.
